Package

I placed an order to receive a product before December 23rd. I did not receive an email or any type of notification that there were not enough items available in the warehouse. It is Christmastime and being notified would have been helpful as this was a gift. I contacted the customer service department and the rep was chewing on gum and would not provide me with any useful information. I also waited to take the survey but the representative would not end the call. He told me to hang up, and I did not he proceeded to transfer my call.

Customer service

GameStop will not give me the status of my order. They have no clue about what they are doing. In future will use anybody such as Best Buy or anybody other than GameStop for my shopping

I called the GameStop on Oregon Avenue in Philadelphia PA and asked what tike they closed. This is at 8:34pm. The employee told me 9pm. I arrived at the store at 8:47pm and the gate was down. I attempted to call them back but nobody answered the phone.

I ordered a Christmas present on Dec 10th and paid for 1-2 day shipping. I recieved a tracking number and estimated delivery date of Dec 13. Now on Dec 23, it is still "awaiting carrier pickup". Apparently, these clowns would like their customers to believe everything is someone else's fault, and Gamestop is the only place in America that USPS is 13 days behind in picking up packages. I tried to contact a real person at Gamestop - even a basement-dwelling nerd-virgin would be OK - and I've found its quite impossible to get anything beyond a recorded message.

User's recommendation: Save yourself from being robbed - don't be a customer.

This is the worst customer service i have ever experience! Every-time i got a supervisor on the line and we found a solution to the issue i would get put on hold for over 30 minutes and then the call got disconnected. 3 times. Im over it, NEVER will i be ordering online again.

No one will tell me the status of my claim

It is over a month - not a single word, call, text, email, replacement of the order. Gamestop is closing over 1,000 stores.

No need to wonder why. One of the worst experiences and companies still in limited business.

Fed ex lost the package, did not deliver, found the package, did not deliver, then told me to file a claim with Gamestop, which I did. Gamestop stated they realized the urgency and would resolve the problem by sending out a replacement. I have not heard a single word. No follow up, no replacement, no emails answered, held on the phone for over two hours. Two days before Christmas eve and what should I tell a 9 year old that only wants a switch. You have my money, I have nothing. Customer service should be just that. Where is my replacement. What is the status of my claim, why are emails not answered. I am really torqued. First and likely last time I will use Gamestop. Thank you for the stress and mess you and Fedex have placed me in.

User's recommendation: After almost 2 hours on hold, gave up waiting for an up to date claim status, BTW email is a waste of time also.

Calling about a return

Gamestop - Calling about a return
I had ordered a game called fire emblem shadow dragon on their website (that was my first mistake) along with a few other games and half of them weren't even the right games. When I called they told me to send it back in order to receive the right games and call back. I've now been waiting for 3 and a half hours and counting. I know they said wait time might exceed and hour but this is ridiculous
