I pre-ordered a game for my son back in the beginning of July. According to the store I purchased at the item was undeliverable and returned due to them having the wrong address. I've had the same address for the last 6 yrs... Customer service told me I'd receive a refund in 14 days, never got it. Called back again in August, customer service told me that I would receive a gift card in the mail then hung up on me! It's October and I still have yet to receive my refund. My son loves GameStop but I will not be setting foot in their stores again and I definitely won't pre-order anything ever again thanks to being ripped off!

I buy and Xbox One S for 254.99. I pay an extra 10.00 to get 2-4 day shipping which it ends up taking the full 4 days by the way. Then when I open up my package, turns out they sent me an Xbox 360. I call Game Stop, on hold for 30 minutes trying to get a hold of someone and I’m told it take 10-15 BUSINESS DAYS only ONCE they receive my return Xbox 360. I still get no refund for my expedited shipping or any type of discount. Won’t be buying from over priced GameStop again.

User's recommendation: Don’t purchase from GameStop, they’re dying anyway.

Order a game for PS4 on May 11, 2020 which pays shipping of $ 13.99 to arrive in 2 days. They sent me the tracking number and I was notified that it would arrive on Monday, May 18 and did not arrive. I think that if you pay for a fast service it is not fair that it arrives as normal shipping because for that you would not have paid for the shipping.

I em going through the same thing right now. I'm going to raise *** with them, i paid $14.99 for overnight shipping days ago, on a Thursday.

Fed Ex tracking status still says Awaiting package. The Service actually say's Fed Ex Home. This is why Gamestop may not survive that much longer.

They're customer Service is just not there in this day and age. It shows

Worst customer service ever. I pre-ordered a game online, and paid extra for next day shipping when it was released. It takes 4 days after release to be shipped. They said it's their policy to send it out when they feel like it basically. No refund of shipping charges. Amazon would have done better, should have stuck with them

This company is the worst. I bought a game on the 19th of March which was a Monday having it shipped. It got shipped to the wrong address. I called that Thursday to have it shipped to the right address. I had a supervisor lie to me saying that they put in the game to be shipped to the right address. She never did. She lied to me! I wait 8 days and still no game. I’m confused at this point. So I call today and they tell me that no game was out in and they can overnight it to me. But no one can compensate me for anything. No little gift car. I even want to cancel my membership because you all can’t garentee 2 day shipping when that’s what you all are offering. This all just seems like a big scam and I will let as many people know of what I just experience with this company and even management.

How do you know they put the wrong address and it just wasn't delivered to the wrong one which would be the shippers responsibility?

At first I was in store and the shipping address was just spelled wrong. I could track that one and since the last word was misspelled it got sent back to the warehouse. It even said it on the tracking.

So Christmas was really close and i decided to buy the BB-8 usb charger for hubby and my dad as it was buy one-get one free. i decided to pay for the two day shipping, which was around $11, still i’d get it after Christmas but i wanted to get it asap. I checked the delivery date and showed December 26th. When they day came, there was no delivery at all. I contacted UPS to check on the status (i understand it’s a busy time of the year) but they told me they didn’t even have my package yet. Almost a week later (during that time i don’t even remember how many times i tried contacting Gamestop) i receive a notice from UPS saying they had my package and it’d be delivered asap. Now im pissed. I paid $11 for a two day shipping, which i didn’t get, they wont reply to my emails. They jist dont care. All i want from them is to charge it as a regular delivery nd give me back the rest of my money. I wish there’s was a way for me to MAKE THEM LISTEN/REPLY. They just decide to ignore it. Never again.

Pre-order Destiny 2 Collectors Edition the day it was available. I was so happy because it sold out in hours everywhere. A few days later 3/30/17 I sent a customer care email online asking to verify that I had next day shipping so that I would have the product on launch date. Two months later, 5/31/17 I received an email stating that my order was updated. Last week 7/17/17 I went online to get my pre-order code for the beta and saw that my order was "closed". I then called the customer service number to find out why my order was closed since the game does not launch until 9/06/17. They proceeded to tell me my order had been cancelled on 5/31/17 THE SAME DAY THEY UPDATED MY ORDER. I was furious because the collectors edition is sold out. I asked why my order was cancelled and they told me it had something to do with my credit card. I asked them what the issue was because they do not charge for the game until it ships so there should not be any thing wrong with my card. They could not answer my question and told me I had to contact my credit card company. The card I used was a GameStop Credit Card with a $0 balance so there was no way there was an issue. There are no charges on my card or even a failed transaction. I asked for the supervisor and the agent requested a callback. I did receive a call back but the supervisor spewed the same information. They would not resolve my issue which is probably because the game edition is sold out. No compensation, no apologies. All I want is my pre-ordered game. I will be cancelling my Credit Card, rewards card and never shopping there again. Kiss my $2000 a year in revenue goodbye GameStop along with any good reviews or recommendations.

Online Customer Support never did send the tracking information and was unable to resolve this issue. Thankfully, the store manager stepped in and took care of this for us. He and his employees were nothing but helpful and we very much appreciate them.

On July 3d my son pulled together all his birthday money and went to purchase a brand new PS 4. The worker talked him into a pre-owned option. Once my son agreed we were told that they had to order it online. We paid for 2-day shipping and ordered a game, the system w/warranty, and an extra remote. On the 6th we received the game. That's it. I called what they refer to as customer service (I now have their script memorized)! I was told that the items were in the warehouse and that at any moment I would get a tracking number and that we should see the items by the 7th or 8th. No tracking number came, No items were delivered. I called them again on the 8th. They informed me that my items were in the warehouse and that I'd get a tracking number by the end of the day and see our items on Monday (the 10th). Today is the 10th. No tracking number and no items. I call this morning and they tell me that the items are in the warehouse and that by the end of the day I should see a tracking number. I asked how it is I'm expected to believe that. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They put me on hold and then come back to say the supervisor would call me back. They didn't call me back after 5 hours. So, I called them again. I was told that the items were in the warehouse... well you get it! I'd like to know if we are EVER going to see our items.

Gamestop downloads never work. Their instructions, such as how to get their downloads to work at all much less to work on steam, lead to dead ends.

Both downloads I bought from them won't download anywhere. & yes I did do my homework & I'm 41 you four-flushing snob. Gamestop downloads are meant to fail. Period.

Also, their in-store service people are even more vague & equally unable to get Anything to work Anywhere. Live up to the truth, Gameslop.

Hence why children shouldn't make adult decisions. Next time you'll know to do your homework to help him with the purchase (since it's not chump change) and purchase a new, more reliable gaming system. Don't be surprised if you have nothing but problems with it, but hopefully lesson learned.

NEVER ORDER FROM GAMESTOP

Paid for over night shipping on a Thursday morning and will not receive my product until Monday just *** poor service. Called customer service they said a hold was put on order but money was already taken out of my PayPal account. I called Friday to check why no progress on my order and they said a hold and they would lift it. I checked my status and still no tracking number. I called back to ask what the issue was and they said the hold takes 24 hours and it was lifted but still takes another 24hrs to send out. Just *** poor service. I will never ever buy from GameStop again.
