Went to our usual gamestop location in North Augusta SC.

Made it to the store at 8:40 pm.

Closing time is 9 pm.

Had around 15 games to trade in.

Female associate on duty informed my son it was too late to do trades as she is starting to do closing prep.

Been dealing with this store for 2 years

with no problems til tonight.

Better associates in the past did our trades with no problems around closing time even letting us finish up our business with them after doors were locked.

Excuse the *** out of us for ruining this lazy associates schedule of doing nothing.

I will be going back tomorrow to complain to manager.

Each game has to be tested cleaned and then priced before they leave. GS isn’t into paying the employees for staying later then they are scheduled.

Sorry what you are calling laziness is someone attempting to keep their job. You arrived too late that is all. Get over it. I’m sure the manager did nothing.

Try and have respect for other human beings time. YOU expect that YOUR time is more valuable then anyone else, and that is a false statement.


There is an easy solution to this entire situation. Not waiting until the last minute to go into the store.

Exchanges can take time, and you brought in 15 games.

Do you think we want to pay our employees overtime? No thank you.
