I had this same experience. I didn't realize it would be this bad until right after I placed the order. The guy at Gamestop made it sound like it would be no problem, but its anything but that.

I pre-ordered a game for my son back in the beginning of July. According to the store I purchased at the item was undeliverable and returned due to them having the wrong address. I've had the same address for the last 6 yrs... Customer service told me I'd receive a refund in 14 days, never got it. Called back again in August, customer service told me that I would receive a gift card in the mail then hung up on me! It's October and I still have yet to receive my refund. My son loves GameStop but I will not be setting foot in their stores again and I definitely won't pre-order anything ever again thanks to being ripped off!

I called customer service several times and realized when I finally got through to someone that it was a recording loop!!!! At this point theyre openly scamming people. This is egregious and insulting, I wouldnt expect this from an established company.

I never received a response regarding the warranty exchange. But I went into the store and found out I was given the wrong informative over the phone. They exchanged my item with the warranty.

Stores 100% have the right to refuse service in store. You can do delivery at door, or buy online pickup at the door if you either refuse, or cannot put on a mask.

I do not fault the employee whatsoever, they have to worry not only about their own safety, but about everyone in the store. You had other options.

Cancelled an order and never got my money back

I went into a store to buy a console which they didn't have in store so the associate ordered it online, I got home and changed my mind and called this number. They keep throwing me around in circles and keep telling me that I was going to get a virtual gift card by last Friday and its now Tuesday and I still haven't gotten it.

I have signed up for a PlayStation 5 pre-order where they let you know when the pre-orders is available never got a call any sold out then they had another wave approval pre-orders that they already had you sign so I can get alerted again or you go into their site and put in your information so you can get a alerted call back and get towed the second waves came out of PlayStation fives and sold out again hows that specially youve been doing your business with them all the time this is ridiculous Game stop Its becoming sorry as we speak how They doing their business

Get over yourself, you list was to inform you if they had a chance, however the Preorders were so limited they were gone before there was time to call anyone. You aren't entitled to a Preorder anymore than the next person, and the world will not end because you have to wait.
