I placed an online order and I paid an extra fee for guaranteed same day local delivery. When I placed the order online, the GameStop checkout website stated that the order was guaranteed for delivery on the same day by 5 PM.

There was even a countdown timer showing how many minutes the same day delivery option was still available for that extra fee. After placing the order, I even called the GameStop toll-free number (1-80*-***-****) just to confirm the order/same day delivery and was told everything was good. I received a GameStop order confirmation email a few minutes later and the delivery time had been moved back to 8 PM on that same day. It was only a three hour delay and I was willing to overlook it.

A few hours later on the evening of 4/11/2021 I received a second email stating that the order would be delivered by 8PM on the next day! Of course, by this time all GameStop customer support (chat and telephone) had closed for the night and it was too late to drive to a local store to pick the item up. I needed that item/part the same day as promised (it was a birthday present). I could have driven to a local store during the day and picked it up myself.

I paid a premium fee to have this item delivered the same day and I received multiple written and verbal confirmations from GameStop that the item would be delivered right up until the delivery time and it was not delivered as promised. To make matters worse, the GameStop shipping webpage states that orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays may be processed the next business day. This is in direct conflict with the actual webpages where items are sold. So which one is it - same day or next business day?

How can GameStop upsell and charge an extra delivery fee for same day delivery on the weekends/holidays, but at the same time claim the orders might not be processed until the next business day - possibly days later. In my opinion, this appears to be classic double talk (fraud). I believe that any mention of same day delivery at purchase and/or checkout (and any countdown timer for that same day delivery option) should be removed from the GameStop website on days when same day delivery is not actually available.

GameStop did refund the extra fee that I paid for the same day delivery, but GameStop didn't provide a time machine so that I could gift the birthday present on the birthday. Thank you.

This is at least the 4th headset we've had to return. All of the the mic quit working so we'd bring it back. This time GameStop said it's been more than 30 days contact manufacturer. The manufacturer said return to store. We have the receipt but we can't locate the box, so long story short were screwed out of $50 for another defective headset regardless of warranty. Not very satisfied. Would be great to find something that actually works after you pay for it. I mean works for more than a month or two.

Warranty for 50 bucks a controller until 2023. I bought 5. Warranty is until one breaks not 2023. Not worth it. At all. *** sakes.

My debit card information was stolen and there were 2 $50 purchases to GameStop. I immediately contacted my bank to close card out and called GameStop. This was Friday a week ago!! Have made 3 more calls since then and was told someone would email or call me back, no one ever did. Called again this am, supposedly its now been investigated as of today and I should receive money back in 3-5 business days Facepalm Yes Im pissed!!!!

Poor customer service

I asked for my money to be returned never was I ordered something that said was in stock, and it turns out it wasn't, and I asked for my money back and order to be cancelled and yet it took me to tell the customer service rep I'm an attorney at law for her to actually get off her *** and actually do something for me, I mean seriously I'm considering taking GameStop as a corporation to court since I know the conversation was recorded, and I know I was miss treated as a consumer please get rid of your *** poor customer service reps. And get people who actually care, and maybe I'll consider ordering from this company again.

Just to let you know. That problem you're having happens to the best of people.

Here's what you could do. And hope that this helps you. You are able to turn of the system by the button onto the system or the controller. And turn it back on.

It should help you. or you're able to go to system setting and that should help.

Very bad experience

I'm sorry to say that your customer service is the worst. I don't think this will help your business grow. You need to do something about it because you lost me and my friend as coustomers and I will advice all the people I know to not deal with GameStop even if they are going to pay more somewhere else. My $50 gift card didn't work and you wasted my money and I called many times and no one helped because you are hiring unprofessional people.End of the story, I will never deal with you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible Customer Service & Late Delivery

We ordered 2 copies of Monster Hunter Rise plus 3 amiibos in Nov 2020, the game was due out 3/26/21. We received one copy of the game 3 days after release date, 4 amiibos 2 days after that and our still waiting for the 2nd game and the other amiibos. We have two sons... On calling customer service we have been lied to, hung up on and agent refused to transfer our call to a supervisor. Very unhappy with the service (well, furious) and very disappointed that ordering 5 months in advance means you get the product later than in-store purchase, if at all!
