so last year I had made a bunch of trade ins and acquired somewhere around $800 in store credit. I made two separate trade transactions during that day and had two GameStop cards.

One had around $550 and then other $250 give or take a few dollars. I had planned on using them to get a few gifts for friends and family over the holidays and had them laying around for a couple weeks. so fast forward Im heading out to go use the cards and realize that I had not written the amounts of each card on them and had misplaced the receipts. No biggie I call the number on the back of one of the cards and they give me the amounts of each card.

The first again $550 and then the second one $0!!! Now im pissed I hunt down my receipts knowing full well I had not used either card yet and no one had touched them I lived alone at the time. I called again with the same result and now headed to my local GameStop. I speak with the manager there and he calls his district manager who then in turn calls their corporate office.

I come to find out that my Credit had been used in another state!!! I ask how is this even possible!!! the card clearly states it must be presented at the time of use!!! How was this person able to use my credit when I had the card hundreds of miles away!!!

I went round and round with GameStop for over two months. They knew the store it was used in,what day and time and even said there were cameras in the store!!! yet I could not be refunded the credit!!! By the way over those two months I dealt with a district(Colonie Ny, GameStop) manager who consistently avoided and did not return my calls when he was supposedly looking into this for me.

So all in all I was robbed of $250 and told essentially to deal with it!!!

Thanks again GameStop!!!
